2017 recap: next generation automatic mounting machines
2017 has been another year of continued growth and strengthening of our organization. We aim to enforce our world market leader position by continuously improving on existing solutions using cutting edge technology and digitalizing traditional workflows as well as inventing new systems. By this we improve our customer printing quality and overall efficiency through a combination of reliability and accuracy. We have developed important new features both software and hardware to make our equipment easier to use, more accurate and faster. At the same time 2017 was a year where we saw sales and deliveries of the next generation automatic mounting machines SAMM 2.0 and FAMM 2.0 take off while keeping focus on improving our service and support department as well as expanding our engineering team.
AV FLEXOLOGIC AMERICA’S
Our US-based AV Flexologic America’s organization has grown as recent as December 2017 with the addition of Bruce Hinkel who will be based out of Michigan, and earlier on in the year with Nathan Rank, based out of Wisconsin. At the same time we are actively searching for additional service engineers based in the North American continent and we have seen the improved utilization of our new spare parts warehouse in the USA which is part of our aim to be able to always better serve our existing and new customers.
NEW MOUNTING MACHINES SAMM 800 (2.0) AND THE SAMM USD
With a successful Labelexpo in Brussels which saw the introduction of next generation automatic mounting machines: the SAMM 800 (2.0) – automatic mounting machine for sleeves and the presentation of the SAMM USD for cylinders. The expansion of our global sales and agent network has resulted in increased market presence, and ability to serve customers in their own languages.
DEVELOPMENT OF THE SELF-SUPPORT PORTAL
In the beginning of 2017, we have built a new Self-Support Portal which is containing technical drawings, user guidelines, troubleshooting material and procedures for performing calibration and repair. With the help of the portal, our customers can easily find all the answers and solutions to all the frequently asked questions. Besides, if customers need a support, they can raise online ticket which they can report with pictures, text and videos of the problem.
