Patented Backlight System

The third generation of SAMM introduces backlight technology to enhance image recognition of different marks. The Backlight System detects mounting marks across a wide range of plates, facilitating faster and more accurate mounting processes.

Automatic vacuum table

The improved vacuum table enables SAMM 3.0 to fully automatically mount individual printing plates without operator interaction, keeping the performance of the mounting job with an accuracy of 5 microns and a mounting speed of under 30 seconds per plate.

New Ultra-HD Camera Technology

The New Ultra-HD monochrome camera’s move automatically to the mounting position. Achieving a measurement resolution of 0.5 microns is now achievable, thanks to advanced lenses, camera holders, and AV Flexologic’s latest image recognition software algorithms.

Patented Image Recognition

The Image Recognition System verifies mounting mark alignment, categorizing plates as ‘OK’ or ‘NOT OK’ based on preset tolerances, halting the machine if necessary to prevent incorrect plates from reaching the press, ensuring error-free printing operations.
