AV Flexologic is a family owned company which supplies high-end prepress machinery for the printing processes in the consumer packaging industry. AV Flexologic is the world market leader in its field, supplying very accurate, robotic equipment in over 100 countries worldwide. With a range of unique and innovative products, an average of 20% growth is achieved each year. Over the last 5 years the organization has been growing from a relatively small organization with 30 employees to a group of companies with over 200 employees, with AV Flexologic being the largest company in the group.

Opportunity

We are looking for an international Field Service Engineer based in the US (near one of the main hubs).

This position requires international traveling to clients continuously. This means that sometimes you are away from home multiple weeks in a row. It is therefore important that you have experience with what job required traveling entails or that you are interested in traveling internationally.

In this position you will be reporting to the Service & Support Manager, based in the Netherlands.

New employees will be trained in our production facility in The Netherlands. You will be expected to come over for training purposes for a period of 8 to maximum 12 weeks. Airline ticket, housing, salary and expenses will be covered during this period.

Your Duties Include:

• Installing mounting machines with a focus on Fully Automatic Plate Mounter 3.0 (FAMM 3.0)
• • In order to perform this duty, we will arrange the required training to do so.
• Service maintenance
• Machine repairs
• Updating and resolving service tickets
• Project Management

Qualifications of job holder’s position:

• Fluent in Italian and English (other language skills such as Spanish, German or French preferred)
• Technical degree (Mechanical or Electronics)
• 0-5 yrs experience as a field engineer on electrical/mechanical machines, preferred combination of both
• Analytical
• Result oriented and hands-on
• Taking initiative
• Works independently
• Coaching skills
• Good communication skills
• Flexibility
• Willing to travel Internationally worldwide
• Team player
