Backlight System

Patented Image Recognition System

Vertically Moving Cylinder
It allows a fixed distance between the cameras and the plate, so no focusing of the lenses is needed. The cylinder also rotates automatically.
Options
Cutting Knife for Plates
The cutting knife has a very precise adjustable depth which is regulated by the movement of the lift. The cutting knife is connected to the camera beam and you can easily slide it through the sleeve and cut the excess tape without damaging the sleeve.The cutting knife is also used for applying tape onto the sleeve and it is an optional feature to the Automatic SAMM and the Motorized MOM mounting machines.
Tape Holder 2.0
The newly enhanced Tape Holder 2.0 simplifies the application process with precision alignment and automated tension control, significantly boosting efficiency and consistency in tape application.The Tape Holder 2,0 also features an exchangeable shaft for versatile tape handling and a pneumatic up/down movement mechanism offering smooth, ergonomic adjustments that enhance operational comfort and efficiency.
TIR Sleeve Measurement System
The TIR system is designed to measure the '3d landscape' of sleeves and cylinders by using a laser to scan an adjustable grid pattern across and around the sleeve. With this information, it is possible to know the condition of every sleeve that you have in inventory, which helps save valuable time in your press department.It is also possible to build a database to help track the condition of your sleeve inventory over time.
Automatic EasyReg Detection
Using our patented image recognition system, a visual mark on the edge of a sleeve such as the W&H EasyReg strip can be automatically 'set to zero' on the MOM, SAMM, and FAMM mounting machines by simply pushing a button. The camera automatically homes in on the EasyReg mark and also automatically 'sets zero' in the X and Y direction with a 0.001mm (1µ)
Barcode and QR Code Scanner
A barcode/QR code scanner can be optionally added to the MOM; SAMM or FAMM for automatic loading of the jobs. The jobs are then usually made offline in prepress to optimize the machine Operation Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
Special Mounting Adapters from Tech Sleeves
Tech Sleeves offers special adapters to 'bridge' the gap between a printing press mandrel and the inner diameter of the printing sleeve. Tech Sleeves adapters are made with high-quality materials, for long durability and resistance to chemicals, heat and the stresses faced in a printing press.
