Job description

As Senior Financial Controller you are responsible for the financial administration of the organization. You report directly to the CFO and work closely with the finance team to manage financial processes and systems. This is a broad role with a responsibility for all of our operating entities. Improving our processes and procedures is an important part of the job.

Key responsibilities

  • Consolidation of Financial Statements
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations, commentaries and maintenance
  • Leading Month-end close
  • Financial Reporting
  • Business Reporting
  • Cash flow forecasting
  • Internal Controls & Risk Assessment
  • Controlling Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
  • Insurances

Ideal Candidate

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years relevant working experience, preferably in an international environment;
  • Extensive knowledge of financial systems
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting, reporting, and compliance
  • Experience with leading month- and year-end closing processes
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team;
  • Entrepreneurial/self-starter, results driven and committed;
  • English required level C1, both verbally and in writing,
  • Ability to travel to the Netherlands occasionally
