To strengthen our Quality Assurance team, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer who will play a pivotal role in maintaining and improving our product quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Quality Control and Inspection
    • Perform regular inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.
    • Develop and maintain inspection protocols, sampling plans, and testing procedures.
    • Ensure the calibration and maintenance of measurement and testing equipment.
  2. Process Improvement
    • Identify and analyse quality issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
    • Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to resolve quality concerns and improve processes.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing and Six Sigma projects.
  3. Documentation and Reporting
    • Maintain and update quality documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), control plans, and audit reports.
    • Prepare and present quality performance reports, including KPIs and trends, to management.
  4. Customer Focus
    • Address and investigate customer complaints and ensure timely resolution of quality-related issues.
    • Support customer audits and provide required quality certifications or documentation.
  5. Compliance and Audits
    • Ensure that all quality management systems (QMS) comply with relevant standards, such as ISO 9001 or other industry-specific certifications.
    • Participate in internal and external audits and facilitate the implementation of corrective actions.
  6. Team Collaboration
    • Train and guide team members on quality standards, tools, and best practices.
    • Foster a culture of quality awareness throughout the organization.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of experience in quality engineering or quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
    • Experience with quality standards such as ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or Lean methodologies.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, Pareto Analysis, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
    • Familiarity with statistical software and ERP systems.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
