Self Cleaning Sensor
This explosion-proof sensor is placed parallel to the ink tank and determines the viscosity of the liquid by measuring the falling time of a ball into the ink. This falling time is determined by the resistance of the liquid. When the viscosity increases, which is extending the falling time of the ball, this is passed onto the electromagnetic solvent valve and automatically solvent is added to the ink until the pre-set viscosity is reached again. In rinsing mode, the liquid flows through the sensor continuously, removing any contaminents.
