AV Matic 2100 Washer

This  AV-Matic Inline unit operates according to the 'flat washout' principle, which results into a perfect photopolymer printing form. Due to maximum brush contact the wash out results are fast and perfect. These ultra-modern machines are micro-processor controlled, which enables many new possibilities:

• The closed washout system is automatically opened when the plate is moving over a sensor at the input; the length of the plate is measured and amongst other things used to rinse the plate after washing out, so that automatically an adjusted quantity of clean solvent is added to the washout solvent.

• With inline 'washing' the plate is cleaned and rinsed with clean solvent and then dried by our unique absorb system. The plate is ejected on a table, drip-free, perfectly washed-out and clean, inline at the other end of the machine.

• The microprocessor controls also the solvent work tank and the replenishing of the processing solvent (integrated). The display will turn red, indicating that a refill of the solvent is needed.

• Option: when processing digital plates the black carbon residue is wash out in the first step of the inline unit. The solvent is filtered with a specially designed filter in order to remove as much carbon residue as possible. This step ensures a considerable longer life time of the solvent and helps to reduce the need of regenerating the solvent. Also, the plate is processed considerable cleaner which improves the quality.

The most important advantages of the AV-Matic Inline washout systems are:

1. An excellent washout quality with minimum use of solvent, which washes up to the finest screens ruling ( also with Digital plates)

2. The oscillating movement of the brushes ensures a thoroughly washed image.

3. Flat washout principle with full brush contact for fastest results. Due to the intensity of the brushes, the washout time is by far superior to all orbital washout machines.

4. All plate sizes can be processed in the machine with the clamping system.

5. Due to intense (adjustable) flushing and because the remaining solvent and polymer is removed by means of our unique absorb system, the plate is ejected really clean and drip free.

6. Separate filter system to remove black carbon residue when using digital plates increases the life time of the solvent (option).
